LATA BEREMBUN, JERANTUT, PAHANG

A few weeks ago (5 August 2017), me and my friends had a trip to Lata Berembun, Jerantut, Pahang. The environment there is so nice! even me, myself is so amazed with the view! I personally recommended to those who loves adventure like jungle trekking, river crossing and so on to check this place out! You guys won't regret it! You can also spend night here but as for us, we choose to have a day trip only.  

  

Unfortunately, a four-wheel vehicle is needed for this trip. We hopped on 4WD by using Jerantruck's help to get us there. I can said that 4WD was definitely a crazy ride for sure! We can't even sleep on it hahaha and there's time when it was hampir-hampir nak terbalik. It wasn't just thrill but that was crazy one! Frankly speaking, this is one of the off road trips experience for myself. Even myself keep on asking the driver whether it is the road or not. The road is no joke! Normal cars memang takkan mampu sampai.

We went there from Jerantut at 10 am. We had no choice other than parked our car at Damak and went to the Lata Berembun by four-wheel vehicle. For your information, this place is situated near Ulu Cheka which almost 34 km from Bandar Jerantut. Ulu Cheka ni macam salah sebuah perkampungan. We arrived there at 11 am (estimate time je ni. it could be more than that tau) This trip contains 16 persons including me and the driver plus one of the tour guide.

Dah sampai tu, we need to walk almost 30 to 40 minutes (estimate time. kalau makin ramai selalunya makin lambat sampai sebab kena tunggu semua orang kan) to the waterfall (jungle trekking bermula yeahhhh) We planned to have a makan makan there so it is extra challenging jugaklah kot sebab kami kena pikul barang-barang untuk masak-masak makanan tu. Sepanjang trekking tu, kita boleh dengar bunyi arus sungai.

After 10 to 15 minutes walking,  we need to cross the river! Arus agak deras dan this require a lot of cooperation between us. We need to help each other. We need to cross the river one by one and orang yang dah sampai kena tolong member yang baru nak crossing. Dekat sini memang tak ada pilihan lain dah, korang memang akan basah. Iyalah dah nama pun river crossing takkan tak basah. Betul tak? Ada tau dua tiga orang yang hampir hanyut masa river crossing even me pun nyarissss kot. But this seriously something yang memang takkan dilupakan! Personally, rasa bersyukur sebab pergi dengan team yang ringan tulang dan langsung tak pentingkan diri sendiri.

Siap sudah river crossing kan, kita masih kena berjalan dalam 10 minit atau mungkin lebih. Semua bergantung kepada ahli trip korang tu. Kalau pantas, maka cepatlah sampai. Bagi kami, as one team, kami tak sasarkan untuk sampai cepat. There's nothing to chase. The waterfall will wait for us gittewww. Jadi kami ada berhenti rehat sekejap macam tu tapi semangat nak sampai tu memang serius membuak-buak hehe.

Akhirnya berkat kesabaran semua orang alhamdulillah kami sampai ke tempat yang dituju. Yeayyyyyyyy~~~ mula-mula tengok memang terpukau habis. Langsung tak sangka tempat sendiri cantik macam ni. The most important thing, it is so refreshing and cool. It is far from the city and of course this is the best place to release stress. This place give peace and calming our soul. It is a time to bond with the nature!

We performed our Zuhr prayer before going home. There is no surau so we just put a mat on the rock and pray with the sound of waterfall around us. Can you feel it? That is calming moments for myself. We went home at 4 pm. This is one of the wonderful trip ever. tired but happy. This sensational waterfall will make me come back later on. Maybe for camping?
